Privacy Policy

Short version: we collect what we need to deliver your kit and nothing else. We don't sell or rent your data. We don't track you across the web.

What we collect

Email address — to send your download link and receipt.
Payment metadata — amount, currency, last 4 of card, billing country. Card numbers are handled by Stripe and never touch our servers.
IP address and User-Agent — recorded in server logs for security and abuse prevention. Retained 30 days.

What we don't collect

No third-party analytics (no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no Hotjar).
No advertising cookies.
No fingerprinting.
No tracking across other sites.

How we use what we collect

To send your purchase confirmation and download link.
To respond if you email us.
To issue refunds if requested.
To investigate fraud or abuse.

Who else sees your data

Two services:

Stripe — processes payments. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Gmail SMTP (via msmtp) — sends transactional email. The email body and your address are visible to Gmail.

We don't share your data with anyone else. Ever.

Cookies

We don't set any. The site works without cookies.

Your rights

You can request a copy of any data we hold on you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing support@localbusinesslistings.com. We respond within 30 days.

Data retention

Server logs: 30 days.
Order records (email + amount + slug): 7 years (tax compliance).
Email correspondence: until you ask us to delete it.

Security

All traffic is HTTPS. Download links are HMAC-signed and expire. Card data never touches this server. The full security architecture is documented in our repository.

Changes to this policy

The "Last updated" date will reflect changes. Material changes will be communicated via email to active buyers.
